Rostyslav Hubaydulin
Artist and Physical Comedy
Rostyslav Hubaydulin was literally born into the arts. As the son of a circus performer, he traveled with his family through the world of the circus ring from a young age. The circus world, full of magic and artistic mastery, profoundly shaped him and laid the foundation for his extraordinary career.
Rosty's first artistic roots lay in sports acrobatics. This discipline, which combines elegance, precision, and body control, led him to the stage and eventually to Berlin. In the German capital, he encountered the dynamic and burgeoning breakdancing scene, which ignited his second great passion – a love he had felt since childhood. From that moment on, it was clear: Berlin would be his home and the stage for his creative dreams.
At a time when breakdancing was still virtually unknown in Europe, Rosty was a pioneer. He brought the dance to the streets and thrilled curious audiences with high-energy shows. His exceptional talent and feel for movement soon made him a sought-after artist in the variety and theater scene.
Rostyslav was part of numerous outstanding productions, including glamorous variety shows, opulent revues, and iconic performances at the Friedrichstadtpalast. He also left his mark on contemporary dance productions – including those directed by Gregor Seyffert, one of Germany's most renowned choreographers.
With a unique blend of artistic expertise, dance skill, and innovative passion, Rostyslav Hubaydulin is not only a versatile performer but also a true pioneer in the fusion of traditional and modern arts. His work remains a testament to the power of movement and the courage to forge new paths.
